Shakirat joins us with experience in various sectors from tourism to social care. Fight for Sight is her second foray into the charity sector and allows her to use her compassion and understanding of the lived experiences of the most vulnerable people in our society for good.

In her free time Shakirat (a big reader with an eye for a good book) runs an Instagram based around books and reading, attends author talks, paints, embroiders and enjoys anything that allows her to get creative.
