Murat Ismail

Head of supporter experience

Murat joined the team in January 2024, bringing his expertise in individual giving to the fundraising team. In his new role as head of supporter experience he will be developing a strategy to help quantify and measure interactions with our supporters at every touch point, in order to develop more personalised supporter experiences and journeys and get to know our audiences better – with the aim of increasing long term supporter loyalty and retention.

With more than 23 years’ experience in the charity fundraising sector, working across organisations such as Amnesty UK, Marie Curie, St John Ambulance, Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity and King’s College London – Murat is passionate about helping to deliver sustainable income growth for organisations who make a real difference to the people they exist to serve.

Outside of work, Murat is an avid street photographer and loves exploring the City streets with his Fujifilm camera in hand! Together with his teenage daughter, Murat is a passionate Liverpool FC fan. He’s also a lover of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and enjoys cooking and discovering new dishes and recipes.
