Challenge events and living with Keratoconus

In this episode we speak to Fight for Sight supporter Ashley Winter about his eye condition, keratoconus, and fundraising. Ashley served in the military for 14 years, but the rare eye condition cut his career short.  Keratoconus affects the cornea, the clear round-shaped front surface of the eye. This becomes progressively thinner and weaker over time, eventually causing a cone-shaped protrusion to develop.
