About your role

Here at Fight for Sight, we are committed to championing a more sustainable, ethical way of shopping. In recent years charity shops have come to represent a retail experience that has huge environmental and social benefits and as a result now makes up one of the fastest growing sectors in retail. If you are passionate about responsible retail and shopping to make a difference, there really is no better time to volunteer with us.

We are looking for volunteers who can help us to develop our sustainability messaging both within our shops and through our social media channels. If you fancy curating an upcycled fashion show, making a video tutorial on how to turn something old into something new or documenting the life cycle of a donated item, we would love to hear from you.

You don’t need special skills or experience to volunteer; a positive attitude and a friendly approach to chatting with other people goes a long way. We welcome anyone who is interested in retail and sustainable fashion, passionate about sight loss and supporting a charity, wants to learn something new, or is keen to meet people.
